P-rep and problems
Iverson et al (2008) discuss [attachment:prep.pdf here] p-rep which is a means of assessing the probability that a given effect size is positive over an infinite number of (replicated) experiments. There are papers which discuss how p-rep should be estimated - in particular issue 2 of volume 15 of Psychological Methods focuses this issue.
