PivotTable report is term used by MS Excel for multi-way cross-tabulated summaries derived from a rectangular table of data. The categories for the cross-tabulations, as well as the data that is being summarised, are derived from columns in the table. There is a drop-and-drag wizard for constructing the summary reports.
